Exhibition praises victory of 1968 Tet Offensive
Commando Ba Mu (whose real name is Do Van Can) disguised himself as a rubber latex collector to fool the enemy. He used a tricycle to transport weapons to serve the South Vietnam liberation forces during the 1968 Tet Offensive.
Book on tradition of Vietnam People’s Army launched
Marking the 73rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the 28th Whole People’s Defense Festive Day (December 22), the Institute of Military Social Sciences and Humanities under the Ministry of National Defense in collaboration with the People's Army Publishing House published a book on the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army by General Ngo Xuan Lich, member of the Politburo, Deputy-Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Defense Minister.
Finding Memories show in Hanoi’s Hoa Lo Prison
Documents, photographs and memorabilia of American prisoners of war went on show at Tim Lai Ky Uc (Finding Memories) in Hoa Lo Prison on November 29 and will run until February, 2018.
