Exhibitions document national sovereignty over sea and islands
Regiment 19 of Division 968 of Military Zone (MZ) 4 and the zone's museum held an exhibition called "Sea and islands - the fatherland's sacred sovereignty" from April 14th to 17th. All the unit's commanders and troops, plus local people, visited the exhibition of over 300 photos, documents and objects collected by researchers and scholars at home and abroad. The exhibits documented the country's sovereignty over sea and islands, as well as the forefathers' great sacrifices to safeguard national sovereignty.
Exhibition praises victory of 1968 Tet Offensive
Commando Ba Mu (whose real name is Do Van Can) disguised himself as a rubber latex collector to fool the enemy. He used a tricycle to transport weapons to serve the South Vietnam liberation forces during the 1968 Tet Offensive.
Book on tradition of Vietnam People’s Army launched
Marking the 73rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the 28th Whole People’s Defense Festive Day (December 22), the Institute of Military Social Sciences and Humanities under the Ministry of National Defense in collaboration with the People's Army Publishing House published a book on the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army by General Ngo Xuan Lich, member of the Politburo, Deputy-Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Defense Minister.
